Country singer Ingrid Andress has responded to backlash following her “largely uncomfortable and very awkward” national anthem performance at the MLB Home Run Derby. The country singer on Tuesday took to social media to apologise for her performance, claiming that she was drunk. ‘I'm checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need,’ she posted on social media. ‘That was not me last night. I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition,’ the post went on to read.
