International investors invited to set up shop in Barbados

Minster in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Investment Senator Chad Blackman is inviting investors from international countries to set up shops in Barbados. Senator Blackman says international investors stand to benefit from Government's ongoing move to establish the island which is strategically placed in the Atlantic Ocean as a major logistics hub.` He made the call while addressing the opening of the United Kingdom's Trade and Investment Mission to Barbados. The 2024 United Kingdom Trade and Investment Mission to Barbados, the fifth of its kind, is a collaboration between the UK Department for Business and Trade, Invest Barbados and the Renfrewshire Business Network. Meanwhile, Regional Trade Director for the UK Department for Business and Trade based in Barbados, D' Jamila Ward, says total trade between the UK and Barbados was 560 million pounds in the four quarters to the end of 2024.
