Invasive 'murder hornet' wiped out in U.S.
Eradication of the invasive ‘murder hornet’ has been achieved in the United States. Washington state made the announcement this week, with entomologists citing the tenacity of the population for participating in the campaign to remove the dangerous insects from the region. The hornets threaten native pollinators and can grow up to two inches long.
