Investigation underway to establish cause of fire in Embakasi

NEMA has suspended four of its senior officials on suspicion of the illegal issuance of environmental impact assessment licenses linked to the ill-fated Embakasi liquid petroleum gas filling station explosion. This comes as the owner of the gas plant issues a statement through his lawyer, supporting calls for investigations while exonerating himself from blame.
