Iranians ‘a little bit afraid’ of the Israelis
Curtin University Dean of Global Futures Joe Siracusa says if Iran were to strike against the United States it would be either “rockets” or an “isolated attack”. Mr Siracusa’s comments come as the United States is on high alert over the possibility of a strike by Iran on Israeli or American assets inside Israel. “I think there would be an attack on American personnel,” Mr Siracusa told Sky News Australia. “The Iranians are a little bit afraid of the Israelis because the Iranian air force is really no match for the Israelis or for the Americans for that matter. “But this thing could spill over very, very quickly. “The rest of the world is watching this, trying to figure out who’s in charge and the answer from where I sit is nobody’s in charge.”
