Ireland remains a partner to Barbados and SIDS

Ireland's Ambassador to Barbados, Geraldine Byrne Nason says her country remains a partner for small island states and has been working closely with countries like Barbados in several spheres. The Ambassador, who was a guest on CBC TV8's Mornin' Barbados, says the opening of the Barbados Embassy in Ireland marks a step up in the growing relationship between the two countries. She's on island to pay homage to the Irish legacy, which has been captured in an exhibition titled, Entangled Islands: Ireland and the Caribbean at the Barbados Museum and Historical Society. It delves into the deep and complex historical connections between Ireland and the Caribbean.
