Dance music is big business across Europe. In Berlin, club tourism brings in three million party-goers annually and recently the city’s techno scene has been recognized as part of Germany’s tradition inherited from previous generations, now preserved for generations to come. It’s a move campaigners hope one day might ultimately see it recognised by the UN.
