Is China's 'airpocalypse' gone for good?

Chinese cities are seeing better air quality. Latest official data shows the first nine months of 2024 coming off better than last year. Air pollution levels have fallen 54% over the past 10 years -- faster than any other country in the world. China declared war on air pollution in 2013. The government cut and moved heavy industries away from big cities, got buildings and households to switch to clean heating, and electrified road transport. The central government invests about $4.2 billion in air pollution control every year. Tan Qiuyi reports.
