But when we look at Pakistan, Ishrat Hussain, former chief World Bank economist and former governor of Pakistan's Central Bank, asks, "Is China taking away our electricity from Pakistan to them? Are they (the Chinese) taking away our highways which are helping our truckers to reduce the timing from 12 hours to 6 hours?" Clearly, that's not the case. In fact, Hussain argues that China has helped Pakistan's economy by promoting prioritization and boosting economic growth and development. The idea that "China is stealing resources" is simply not true.
