‘Is that an important question?’: Independent MP discusses Labor’s census decision

Independent MP Dai Le joined Sky News Australia to discuss Prime Minister Anthony Albanese defending his decision to backflip over plans to exclude questions about sexuality from the next census. “I mean 4.4 per cent of the population might believe, according to the ABS, identifies having a sexual orientation,” she said. “Is that an important question for Australia in terms of developing policies for the nation? That’s the government of today’s decision really in what they should include.”
