ISCA launches programme to enhance capabilities of aspiring, first-time board directors

A programme to enhance the capabilities of aspiring or first-time board directors has been launched. With corporate scandals on the rise, the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) said this is to help them better understand their roles and responsibilities. ISCA has set aside $3 million over the next three years for the Board of Directors Masterclass Programme. Apart from courses on financials, corporate governance and sustainability, there will also be a mentorship programme.
