Israel aiming to strip ‘weapons of mass destruction’ from the hands of Syrian rebels

Former US Army Vice Chief of Staff General Jack Keane says Israel’s primary focus in launching strikes across Syria is to target the country’s “chemical weapons”. According to Reuters, Israeli planes have bombed at least three Syrian army air bases destroying helicopters and planes. “They certainly don’t want weapons of mass destruction to get in the hands of radicals,” General Keane told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “They are about destroying that and I think it’s absolutely the right thing to do.”
