Israel captive killed in Northern Gaza : Hamas says Israel strike hit the area

Al Jazeera's Tareq Abu Azzoum joins live from Gaza. He reports that a statement was issued on the Telegram channel of Abu Ubaidah, the military spokesperson for Hamas's military wing. Abu Azzoum explains that the statement revealed communication had been restored with fighters responsible for guarding Israeli captives. It was confirmed that one of the female prisoners held by Hamas was killed in an area heavily targeted by Israeli aggression. He further elaborates that, according to the statement, the life of another female prisoner, who was held alongside the deceased in northern Gaza, remains at serious risk. The statement concluded with a warning that Israel should prepare for the possibility that the bodies of deceased prisoners may disappear due to extensive destruction and the martyrdom of the fighters tasked with protecting them.
