Israel has hit Hezbollah in ways it never imagined, Netanyahu says

Israel has in recent days hit Iran-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon in ways it could not imagine, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday. "If Hezbollah has not understood the message, I promise you, it will understand the message," Netanyahu said in a video statement distributed by his office. Israel's Chief of the General Staff, Herzi Halevi said "We have many more capabilities that we have not yet used. We are at very high readiness in offence and defence. We are well prepared for the next stages and are planning them well for the next few days." Israel and Hezbollah exchanged heavy fire into Sunday, with Israeli warplanes carrying out the most intense bombardment in almost a year of conflict across Lebanon's south and Hezbollah firing rockets deep into northern Israel.
