Israel, Hezbollah inch closer to war in Lebanon amid ballistic missile launch and airstrikes

Israel and Hezbollah both appeared to take steps close to war on Wednesday. The militant group launched a ballistic missile — which is more deadly and has greater range than a rocket — for the first time towards Tel Aviv, and Israel's military chief Herzi Halevi warned what could come next. “This is both to prepare the ground for your possible entry and to continue degrading Hezbollah,” Halevi said about the army’s ongoing airstrikes.
