Israel intensifies attacks in southern Lebanon

On the first day of the year, numerous air strikes targeted the hills near the coast, with approximately eight Israeli warplane attacks and drone-launched missiles, resulting in substantial smoke plumes. Around Naqoura, there were a total of 10 attacks on the surrounding hills. Kfar Kila, to the east, experienced three air strikes, and Maroun al-Ras in the central sector saw three Israeli attacks using artillery and drones. Throughout the day, a series of attacks occurred, with one preceding the Israeli warplane strikes in Naqoura. Explosions were reported from the other side of the border. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for an attack on an Israeli military position. Similar to the previous day, the situation remains highly active.
