Israel is 'changing reality', Netanyahu tells troops

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met the army's northern command chiefs on Sunday (October 6) to discuss its operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon and said Israel was 'changing reality.' A statement issued by the government press office accompanying the video said Netanyahu was conducting a security situation assessment to hear about deployment of forces in Lebanese territory, operational achievements and follow-up goals in its campaign to destruct Hezbollah's military capabilities. Netanyahu's visit comes hours after Israel has launched the most intense bombardment of Beirut since it has escalated its campaign against Iran-backed group Hezbollah last month. It also comes on the eve of the anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attack on southern Israel, which was followed by a year-long firing of rockets by Hezbollah on northern Israel.
