Israel-Palestine two-state solution ‘must exclude Hamas’

Defence Industry Minister Pat Conroy says a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine “must exclude Hamas”. Mr Conroy said part of the two-state solution is a Palestinian state “recognising the borders” and the right of Israel to exist. “And Hamas cannot be part of that," he told Sky News Australia. “They just cannot and that’s been the policy of the Australian government.” Mr Conroy joined Sky News Australia to discuss the Australian government’s thoughts on a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine.
