Israeli attack destroys medical supplies at Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital
One of the few partially functioning hospitals in northern Gaza is Kamal Adwan Hospital. Israeli fighter jets targeted a section of the facility, where medical supplies delivered by the World Health Organization were being stored. The attack destroyed most of the critically needed supplies, that were received only days ago. Kamal Adwan has been struggling to provide medical assistance to the surge in patients from Israel's assault on the north. The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza has condemned ongoing attacks by Israeli forces on the besieged Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern part of the enclave. Al Jazeera’s Tareq Abu Azzoum reports from Deir el-Balah in central Gaza. Doctor Tanya Haj-Hassan is a paediatric intensive care and humanitarian physician with Doctors Without Borders. She has made several trips to Gaza in the last year and joins us live from Amman in Jordan to discuss the latest updates.
