The Emir of Qatar has called for all parties to come to the table and agree to an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Qatar has been a key mediator in the Gaza ceasefire negotiations. Speaking at a summit in Doha, he said no peace is possible in the region without establishing a Palestinian state. Israel has intensified its strikes across the Gaza strip, killing several people. It targeted a house in Shati refugee camp. People in Nuseirat and Maghazi refugee camps in central Gaza have also reported intense artillery shelling. An overnight Israeli strike has killed at least one person and injured another in the centre of the strip. The attack took place in Deir el-Balah.
