Israeli hostage rescued from underground tunnel in 'complex' operation | Israel-Hamas War

The Israeli military has released more details about the rescue of a Bedouin man who was taken hostage by Hamas gunmen on 7 October. The Israel Defence Forces said Qaid Farhan Alkadi, 52, was found in an underground tunnel in Gaza during a "complex" military operation. He is the eighth hostage to be rescued from Gaza in Israel's war against Hamas. Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has been heavily criticised in Israel for not doing more to save the hostages. Around 108 are believed to be held in Gaza.
