Israeli strikes on Beirut: Warplanes target residential suburb of Dahiyeh

Lebanon is waking after a night of sustained and relentless bombing of its capital, and other targets throughout the country. Southern Beirut was hit by an intense wave of airstrikes, which Israel says was aimed at sites belonging to Hezbollah, in the heavily populated suburb of Dahiyeh.
