Israelis try to prevent aid entering Gaza in protest for hostages

Israeli hostage families and families of soldiers killed in Gaza tried to prevent the passage of aid trucks into the Gaza Strip on Thursday. The protest was meant to put pressure on the Israeli government to secure the release of hostages held by Hamas since the Oct. 7 raid. “We think that if they want to get anything from Israel, they should give something back, and in this case, we want to get the kidnapped back," said Amit Sade, an Israeli protestor. Meanwhile, British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, while in Qatar on Thursday, conveyed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he believes more aid should be allowed into Gaza and that an immediate pause in fighting is needed to get hostages out of the enclave.
