It Is Equal Pay Day

The Labour Commissioner has been speaking on local efforts to ensure equal pay for women, and equal pay for work of equal value for all workers. This as the island prepares to implement a new minimum wage in October. His comments coincide with the observance of International Equal Pay Day, celebrated on 18 September.
