Italian PM hails successful G7 summit, says group united on global challenges

Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni says the G7 is sending a “clear signal” to China over its industrial overcapacity. In its joint statement, the group also said that a US$50 billion loan for Ukraine using frozen Russian assets in the West was an “unmistakable signal” to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
