Japanese organisation Nihon Hidankyo wins the Nobel Peace Prize

Japanese organisation Nihon Hidankyo has won the Nobel Peace Prize for 2024. The organisation is made up of atomic bomb survivors from Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II. The Norwegian Nobel Committee praised the group for its efforts to remind the world of the dangers of nuclear energy.
