Jasper wildfire: Why cleaning out spoiled food may not be enough after disasters

As Jasper, Alta. residents make their way back home after a wildfire drove them away several weeks ago, attention will now be turning to clean-up and recovery, but for some that could also mean a smelly return home. When some residents re-enter their homes, they may be greeted with smells from their fridge or freezer due to spoiled food that may have gone bad during power outages in the area. As Sean Previl reports, while some may think it's just a matter of cleaning out the fridge, some experts, including insurance agencies, say it may be better to have that appliance removed.
