Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is preparing to launch his first orbital rocket into space on Sunday with his space company Blue Origin. The launch at Cape Canaveral in Florida marks a major milestone for Blue Origin as it competes with Elon Musk’s SpaceX and the New Zealand firm Rocket Lab - both of which are already running missions for Nasa and others. The spacecraft, named the Blue Glenn in honour of the first American to orbit the Earth, John Glenn, has taken a decade to perfect.
