Jennie Taer reveals Colorado Governor believes there is ‘no gang takeover’

New York Post immigration reporter Jennie Taer has warned Colorado Governor Jared Polis has dismissed a gang presence in the state, calling it “imagination”. “When we brought these different pieces of evidence to the governor’s office, he said that ‘this is imagination, that there is no gang takeover’,” Ms Taer told Sky News host James Morrow. “We have seen it ourselves through not only court documents but being down in this area; Tren de Aragua does have a presence, and there is a threat to the residents living here who likely fear retribution from speaking out. “We are also dealing with sanctuary laws where you have federal authorities kind of at odds with the local authorities who can’t honour requests from immigration and customs enforcement to detain individuals who are in local custody.”
