Jet suit racers take to the sky over Dubai Harbour

Thrill seekers have taken to the skies in Dubai in what’s been described as the world’s first jet suit race. Eight competitors took place wearing jet suits, flying along Dubai Harbour. They weaved between various obstacles, competing in pairs. The jet suits are fitted with five gas-turbine jet engines. Reportedly, they can reach top speeds of almost 130km an hour.
