Joe Biden and Benjamin Netanyahu aiming to finalise Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal

The US President and Israel's Prime Minister have discussed efforts to finalise a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas – according to the White House. Benjamin Netanyahu has authorised a team of mediators to try and resume stalled negotiations but it's not clear where or when they will travel for the talks. During the phone call, the two leaders also welcomed a meeting between US and Israeli national security teams, taking place in 10 days.
