Joe Biden awards US Presidential Medal of Freedom recipients

US President Joe Biden has awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to 19 people across politics, culture and the arts. Former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton and actor Michael J Fox are among the recipients of the medals. The award is presented to individuals for their contributions to US security and values, world peace and other significant endeavours.
