US President Joe Biden is reportedly considering a series of presidential pardons for a number of public officials and allies as he nears the end of his time in office. It would be a pre-emptive move to shield them from possible prosecution as the second Trump administration continues to take shape. It comes after Biden pardoned his son Hunter this week, a fortnight before he faced sentencing on two charges.
