Joe Biden pardoning his son Hunter signals a ‘break in trust’

Former Labor minister Graham Richardson has suggested US President Joe Biden pardoning his son, Hunter, is a “break in trust”. President Biden, in pardoning his son Hunter Biden after he pleaded guilty to federal tax charges, has broken a key promise. “It’s a break in trust from a man who’s going out, not a man who’s staying in, so in that sense, I don’t think it counts as much,” Mr Richardson told Sky News Australia.
