Joe Biden to hold solo news conference following Washington NATO summit

US President Joe Biden has met with world leaders on the final day of the NATO summit in Washington. The 81-year-old will hold a rare solo news conference later this morning in a bid to water down suggestions he is not fit for office following a tumultuous few weeks. Mr Biden is hoping to shore up support for NATO’s new plan to increase military aid to Ukraine.
