JULIEN ALFRED'S MILLION DOLLAR AWARD

In case you missed it, Saint Lucia's Olympic champion Julien Alfred has been awarded one million dollars by the Saint Lucia government. Prime Minister Philip J Pierre made the announcement at a concert celebrating "Julien Alfred Day" on Friday September 27th. The sprinter, who won gold in the 100 Metres at the Paris 2024 Olympics, will also have a highway named after her and a monument erected in her honour.
