Kenaz 'Bit Bit' Walker and Jade Leilani Roach will be the first to hit the stage in the semi-finals of the National Cultural Foundation's 2024 Scotiabank Junior Monarch competition. They were among 26 contestants who eagerly drew their positions to perform in the competition's calypso and soca categories at today's media launch. The semi-finalists will face the judges on Sunday, July 7 at the National Botanical Gardens. The show starts at 6:00 p.m. There, the finalists will be chosen and who will take the crowns will be decided two weeks later at the same venue on Saturday, July 20.
