Junior scientists from UBC daycare get first look at dinosaur

The UBC Pacific Museum of Earth has assembled a fossil cast of Daspletosaurus torosus, which lived in Alberta about 70 million years ago. This nine-metre-long giant, which weighed up to five tons, is due to be part of the museum's Life at the Edge exhibit. Children from UBC's daycare were the first ones to see the reconstructed dinosaur in all its glory.
