Images the Hubble Space Telescope captured earlier this year indicate changes to Jupiter’s ‘Great Red Spot’. The observations occurred over 90 days, showcasing Jupiter’s spot changing its dimensions as it contracts. The Great Red Spot is a 190-year-old anticyclone which rotates around a high-pressure area of the planet’s atmosphere. The spot is the biggest storm in the solar system.
