Kaazi-NEMA COSASE, NEMA authorities respond to the developments at “Kaazi land”

The Members of Parliament sitting on the committee of Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprise COSASE have accused the National Environment Management Authority NEMA of impunity in relation to the management of Kaazi camping Site. This follows NEMA’s response to the committee that the Authority has no man-power to deploy and stop the on-going developments at the site. The developments are purportedly attributed to a businessman Umaru Ssekamate and have been on-going since the Covid-19 Lockdown.
