Kabale district leaders pass by-law to regulate drinking hours
Kabale District Local Council has passed a by-law aimed at regulating drinking hours. The by-law follows the high rate of alcohol consumption during working hours. Under the by-law which came into effect on Tuesday, bars are not supposed to open before 5:00 pm and must close by 10:00 pm. During the council sitting on Tuesday in Rukiiko Hall at the district headquarters, the speaker Flavia Kanagizi said that the ordinance will require a combined implementation effort with committed school head teachers, sub-county chiefs, agriculture extension workers, and security agencies to stop bar owners from operating business before the 5 pm. #NTVNews #NTVTonight #NTVWeekendEdition Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Connect with us on Messenger via m.me/NTVUganda
