Kamala Harris breaks fundraising record after Biden drops out

Kamala Harris has managed to raise $US81 million in 24 hours setting a new record for presidential donations. The Vice President looks to have locked up key delegates in her bid to secure her party nomination after President Joe Biden decided to step aside. Ms Harris is so far uncontested as the Democrat candidate, with just over 100 days left before Americans go to the polls in November.
