Former Democratic National Committee CEO Jess O’Connell says Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is a guy who “knows how to win”. “There’s a lot of enthusiasm from all ranges of the Democratic Party,” she told Sky News Australia. “This is someone that’s going to speak to the middle of the country – it’s going to understand their needs, and he’s gotten a lot done.” Ms O’Connell’s remarks come after Mr Walz was chosen to run on the Democratic ticket with Kamala Harris.
