Kamala Harris urged to show she can represent ‘middle of the road’ voters

Group President and COO Nathan Daschle has commended Kamala Harris for not following Donald Trump down the “rathole of race and gender” during her CNN interview. In her first sit-down interview after formally accepting the nomination at the party's convention last week, the Vice President was grilled on a number of issues such as the American economy, the Israel-Gaza conflict and her opponent Donald Trump. “She tacked to the centre and that’s exactly what she needs to do,” Mr Daschle told Sky News Australia. “Now she needs to move to the centre and show that she can actually represent those middle of the road voters.
