KAMPALA WORKERS CELEBRATE KISAKA'S REMOVAL

Casual workers of Kampala City Council Authority gathered at the Independence Monument in Kampala to welcome the move by President Museveni to dismiss the Head of KCCA and other two top officials. The workers attributed their jubilations to long endured delayed wages and deteriorating working conditions under Kisaka’s leadership By 8 a.m., casual workers of the Kampala City Council Authority had convened at the Independence Monument in Kampala. This gathering was not a typical meeting to plan the city's daily cleaning; rather, it was intended to express solidarity and support for the President's decision to dismiss Kampala City Council Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka and two other officials.
