Kapchorwa chief magistrate grants bail to 8 in land trespass case

The Chief Magistrate of Kapchorwa, Lucy Kabahuma, has granted bail to 8 out of the 31 people who were arrested on 29th December last year for criminal trespass on the land. The affected land measures over 3,000 acres in Gamungei Cell, Chepsukunya Town Council, Kween District. The suspects are accused of attempting to take over the land of over 47 families.
