Kawempe by-election violence - UPDF to investigate alleged assault on journalists

The Uganda People's Defence Forces has expressed concern over reports of alleged harassment and assault of journalists during the Kawempe North by-election.  The acting defence spokesperson Colonel Chris Magezi highlighted that the UPDF has launched an investigation into the events that led to this unfortunate situation.
