KCCA hustles with growing hygiene crisis

Kampala Capital City is continuing to wrestle with a growing hygiene crisis as heaps of uncollected garbage, have overtaken the city, following the collapse of the Kiteezi landfill, three weeks ago. The stench and sight of waste piling up in business districts and markets drive away customers, leaving vendors frustrated. Some of the city leaders suggest that immediate government intervention supports private waste management companies in restoring cleanliness to the capital.
