KCCA TO REPLACE ROUNDABOUTS WITH SIGNALIZED JUNCTIONS IN 78 BILLION UGX PROJECT

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) is set to phase out 27 traditional roundabouts and construct 27 signalized junctions. With funding from the Japanese International Cooperation Agency , approximately 78 billion Ugandan shillings has been injected into the project. As Justine Nakami reports, some of the identified traffic choke points include Rwenzori Courts roundabout, Grand Imperial, Mulago, Mulago City Mortuary, and Mulago Ku Bbiri.
