Kenyan herders swapping cows for camels to cope with severe drought
Authorities in northern Kenya are giving out thousands of camels to herding communities who’ve depended on cattle to survive for thousands of years. People living in semi-arid areas of northern Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia are recovering from the worst drought in about 40 years.
